- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools

RESPONSABILITIES
Job Summary: The Independent Sales Representative is A well-connected entrepreneur who is responsible for generating sales, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and meeting sales targets in their assigned territory
- Must be willing to travel at least 60% of the time.
- This role involves identifying new business opportunities, presenting products to potential customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- The Independent Sales Representative will work closely with CEO and future sales manager.
Sales Generation:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals within the assigned territory.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and requirements, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and effectively.
Product Knowledge.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products or services, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Sales Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and territory analyses.
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate customer records using CRM software (we use ODOO system).
- Provide feedback to the sales team and management about customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to close sales.
- Ensure that terms of sales are communicated clearly and are in the best interests of both the company and the customer.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide excellent customer service.
- Share best practices, sales techniques, and strategies with the sales team.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Reporting: The Independent Sales Representative reports to the Area Sales Manager.
- Travels throughout assigned regions to call on regular and prospective customers including Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors, and National Accounts.
- Identifies and establishes relationships with the Top 20 architectural firms and the Top 20 design firms.
- Pursues new and maintains existing National Accounts. Follows up and reports information.
- Emphasizes new product promotion during sales calls.
- Schedules regular product knowledge seminars with architectural and design firms.
- Develops in-depth knowledge and expertise with regard to all Daltile products, allied products, and installation methods.
- Tracks meeting results consistently and effectively.
- Maintains frequent communication with SSC staff to advise of future orders and obtain samples.
- Schedules timely Large Project Tracking meetings.
- Replenishes and updates products with the local A&D firms.
- Performs other assigned duties as required.
